Lakeshore Acupuncture, LLC is located in St. Joseph by the beautiful shoreline of Lake Michigan. Leah Ke, DIPL AC, is the owner of the business. She and her husband have been living in St. Joseph, Michigan for many years. People from the local area and from as far as Ann Arbor, Chicago, and South Bend have visited her office over the years.
Leah's philosophy is that prevention is the key leading to a happy life. While practicing acupuncture and Chinese herbs, she shares her ideas of healthy eating and exercise.
Leah Ke was born in China. For 4 generations, her family has been practicing acupuncture and Chinese medicine. She received her B.S. degree in traditional Chinese medicine from Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in July of 1993. She completed her internship at the Sino-Japan Goodwill Hospital and became an oriental medical doctor (OMD) in China.
In 1995, Leah Ke became a national board certified acupuncturist in the United States. She has been practicing acupuncture in southwest Michigan since then. Currently, she is a licensed acupuncturist in the state of Michigan, a diplomat of the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), and a member of the American Association of Oriental Medicine (AAAOM) and the Michigan Association of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine (MAAOM).
